The Wells Fargo Scholastic Cup is awarded to the schools that compile the highest Wells Fargo Scholastic Cup points based on their participation and finish at the State Championships along with their rank (among the top eight) in the WIAA Academic State Championships for each sport.  Schools receive Wells Fargo Scholastic Cup points for displaying outstanding sportsmanship throughout the school year. Schools with no more than one student or coach ejection in all varsity sports for the school year will receive 25 Wells Fargo Scholastic Cup points.

Enumclaw High School finished tenth place in the 3A classification for the 2008-09 school year. Mercer Island is the 08-09 Wells Fargo Scholastic Cup winner. Our tenth place overall finish ranks 1st among schools in the West Central District.
