Contributed by Paul Scott, EHS Vocal Music Director:

This past Saturday, 13 entries from Enumclaw competed against Kent, Auburn, Tahoma and White River School Districts. With literally hundreds of entries Enumclaw is sending a Quartet (K. Jacobs, T. Capellaro, M. Semon, and K. Kelly) to STATE as the region's winner out of 14 entries, to Ellensburg's Central WA University. EHS Chamber Choir (T. Capellaro, A. Haywood, K. Jacobs, C. Johnson, K. Kelly, S. Kreidler, A. Lains, C. Miller, M. Olds, N. Peterson, T. Rockwood, M. Semon, K. Sharick, A. Unguez, E. White, and H. Zarate Jr) is a 2nd Alternate out of 17 entries, and K. Kelly is 2nd Alternate for the Alto Section out of 35 Altos entries.

The vocal department earned 8 superior ratings and 5 excellent ratings.

I am very proud of the students that participated in and know they will represent Enumclaw and the Green River Music Region well and make us proud.
