The Girls came from behind and defeated Hazen on Friday, moving into District play.

TICKET PRICES: NO PRESALE. All tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are good for all games the day purchased!
ADULTS: $7.00 & students without ASB Card
HS STUDENTS: $5.00 with ASB Card
SENIOR CITIZENS $5.00 (62+)
ELEMENTARY $4.00
(Check out O.K. with hand stamp)

PASSES: Only WCD Authorized passes, WSCA (Coaches Association) passes, and WSSAAA (A.D. Association) passes will be honored!!!  School, District, League, WIAA, and WOA will not be accepted.

CHECKOUTS: Adult checkouts OK with hands stamped for re-admittance. No student checkouts.

SEATING: Signs will be posted above bleacher areas where student sections for each school will be located for their game. These areas will be cleared after each contest, to allow the fans of the teams in the next contest to have seats.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES: Not allowed on campus.

SMOKING: No smoking or use of tobacco products will be allowed inside or outside venues

GAME FLOOR: Only participating players are to be on the playing floor.

PROGRAMS: Programs for all games will be provided by WCDIII. Cost is $3.00. One will be provided to each team.

VIDEO: There will be a designated area for team video. All other videoing from spectator stands must not hinder spectator viewing. Power may not be available. Extension cords will not be provided.

SIGNS: The official school banner is the only sign permitted. No hand held signs permitted

CONFETTI: The dispersal of confetti is NOT allowed. Schools who violate this rule will be subject to paying the additional cleanup expenses.

BALLOONS: NO Balloons allowed!

NOISEMAKERS: Artificial noisemakers of any kind are prohibited and may be confiscated by the management staff.

MEGAPHONES: Megaphones are to be used only by the cheer staff. Pounding megaphones on the floor as a noisemaker is prohibited.

CONDUCT: Face or body paint is unacceptable (face decal OK). Shirts are required. Note following “Just Play Fair!” behavior expectations: 4

FAN SEATING: Each school will have designated seating. Sitting in the aisles will not be permitted. Depending upon venue, food or drink may be prohibited in gym.

CHEERLEADERS/ DANCE/DRILL Cheerleaders/Dance/Drill members in uniform will be admitted free with their advisor at the pass gate. Cheerleaders are to cheer from the areas designated by game management. Drill teams and/or cheerleaders may perform on the floor at halftime. Performances require 24 hours prior notification to the tournament manager. If both schools wish to perform, the time will be shared equally.

Parking is $10 per space per day. The public entrance is at the main entrance into the Exhibition Hall. With several concession options, no outside food may be brought into the facility. All bags are subject to search. Flash photography is not allowed. Sportsmanship medals may be awarded after each race. Spectators who demonstrate inappropriate conduct or actions may be removed from the facility. WIAA state events are meant to provide a safe environment where everyone feels respected. Tournament managers and WIAA event personnel have the authority to remove individuals for inappropriate behavior or comments. ARTIFICIAL NOISEMAKERS are prohibited and will be confiscated. Band instruments are to be used only for playing music under the direction of the conductor and cheerleaders only may use megaphones.

CHEERS - Only school district accepted cheers may be used at appropriate times. Cheers and chants are to be directed only toward the school’s team. Cheers or yells with degrading opponent implications and profanity will not be allowed.

FACE PAINTING – Face painting may be allowed depending upon local school district policies and the tournament site/facility.

MASCOTS – Only a student costumed mascot, designated by the principal, is permissible.

SIGNS - Tournament sponsors, broadcast media coverage, official school banners and hand held signs that are positive and directed only toward the school’s team are permitted. Run through signs are not permitted.

STANDING POLICY - Standing for prolonged lengths of time may be permissible at WIAA-sponsored athletic events, depending upon the tournament site/facility.

SOUVENIRS: Team and action photographs 4nsp.com, programs wiaa.com, and tournament merchandise gameplanstore.com, will be on sale throughout the tournament. Anyone attempting to enter Tacoma Dome with a fraudulent event pass will be denied entry and may be subject to criminal trespass arrest. Anyone found with a fraudulent pass inside the facility will be removed and will be subject to criminal trespass arrest.

Boys and Girls Wrestling

Congratulations to our Boys’ and Girls’ Wrestling programs for their outstanding weekend results, with both moving on to state this weekend.  The Boys took 1st place at Region III at Bonney Lake High School, beating defending state champion Yelm by 12.

Alternate parking options are available in the downtown area at a reduced special event rate including Park Plaza, Convention Center Parking and North Pacific Plaza. From these lots take the Link light rail with departures along Commerce Street every 10 minutes to the Sound Transit/Pierce Transit Tacoma Dome Station located 3 blocks north of the Tacoma Dome. Check the Link light rail schedule at www.soundtransit.org for hours of operation. Directions to downtown lots: From North & South I-5 take exit 133 to I-705. Take the 15th Street / A Street exit, see map below. Alternate transportation options: Private pay lots and street parking may be available. Pierce Transit Bus #42 stops near the Dome visit www.piercetransit.org Parking may also be available 3 blocks north of the Tacoma Dome at the Sound Transit/Pierce Transit Tacoma Dome Station. Visit www.soundtransit.org for more information. Please note, on Friday the Sound Transit/Pierce Transit Tacoma Dome Station may be near capacity due to business commuters. Valid WIAA issued Tacoma Dome parking pass holders are STRONGLY ADVISED to exit I-5 at Portland Ave (Exit 135 Southbound), (Exit 134 Northbound) and proceed to their designated lot via Wiley Street. Team buses, vans and equipment vehicles must have a valid WIAA issued Tacoma Dome parking pass to park without charge in ANY Tacoma Dome lot.

Parking for WIAA Mat Classic and State Gymnastic’s Championships at the Tacoma Dome.  The Tacoma Dome will have limited $10 cash only parking for patrons attending the WIAA Mat Classic and State Gymnastic’s Championships on February 18 & 19.  Alternate parking options are available in the downtown area at a reduced special event rate including Park Plaza, Convention Center Parking and North Pacific Plaza for five dollars at each lot. From these lots take the Link light rail with departures along Commerce Street every 10 minutes to the Sound Transit/Pierce Transit Tacoma Dome Station located 3 blocks north of the Tacoma Dome.
