EHS Music Accomplishments

  • This year, Enumclaw was well-represented at the State Solo/Ensemble Contest this past weekend at Central Washington University.  Only the top musicians in every region in the state are selected to go, and 10 students from Enumclaw High School were selected to compete at the state level. 
    The 10 students are:
    Z. Bainter
    D. Chevassus
    K. Dirks
    S. Horn
    T. Horn
    A. Hudon
    M. Jarvis
    L. Lamm
    K. Watson
    A. Wolfe

    T. Horn, K. Watson, A. Wolfe, A. Hudon and L. Lamm received 'Excellent Ratings' at the state contest.  S. Horn, Z. Bainter, M. Jarvis, K. Dirks and D. Chevassus received 'Superior Ratings.' Also, Z. Bainter placed 3rd in state in the bass clarinet and S. Horn is state champion in the tuba.  All of these students should be congratulated when you see them today.


  • UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON HUSKY MARCHING BAND selected E. Pierce, flute and C. Beinke, trumpet to march with them Saturday during their Spring Football game halftime show.  They said it was an unbelievable experience to be wrapped in that much sound.
