This past weekend it was a proud time to be an Enumclaw Hornet as three teams captured state championships.
Our boys' wrestling team captured their fourth state championship in five years! In only their second season, our girls' gymnastics team secured the top 3A prize after finishing second in their inaugural year. The girls' wrestling team was awarded the state academic championship honor for having the top grade point average of all girls' wrestling teams in the State of Washington.
There will be a parade down Cole Street to honor all of these athletes on Monday, March 5 beginning at 4:00p.m. A short ceremony is planned at the end of the parade in the parking lot next to the Arts Alive/Enumclaw Chamber of Commerce building.
