EHS Students Chosen For First Superintendent's Award

Our superintendent, Mike Nelson chose the five high school students whose leadership helped bring Rachel’s Challenge to our community for his first Superintendent’s Award. The awards were presented at the school board meeting on Monday, March 19. Those students recognized were R. Chynoweth, M. McKinlay, S. Mongrain and T. Salsbury, along with school board student representative C. Wells.

Mr. Nelson spoke of these students “who were there from the very beginning” and praised them for their strong leadership.

At the board meeting, School Board President Chris VanHoof also commended the students for representing our community well. All the senior leaders will wear their medals during their graduation ceremony in June. What a great representation of student leadership, kindness and compassion that we can all strive to attain!
