Two EHS Students Nominated for 5th Avenue Awards - Updated 5/31/2012



Every year The 5th Avenue Awards honors high school musical theater from around our state, and this year, two of our high school students were nominated! The event, which is a high school version of the Tony Awards, will be held on Monday, June 4 at The 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle.

M.McGrath was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Featured Ensemble Roll for her portrayal of Gavroche in Les Miserables, and J. Bannerot received Honorable Mention for Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of Madame Thenardier, also in Les Miserables.

In addition, five of our high school students have been asked to perform on the 5th Avenue Theatre stage as part of Monday's festivities. They are D. Maxwell, N. Peterson, A. Lorenz, A. Bass, and T.Willey.
