Third Tahoma League's FIRST Robotics Competition Is This Friday!

December 9, 2013

Dear Students, Families and Community Members,
Enumclaw High School Robotics Club cordially invites you to attend the Third Tahoma League FIRST Robotics Competition. Bring your family and come see STEM education in action. The competition will be held on Friday, December 20th in the EHS commons and gym. The event will begin at 5 PM and conclude at 9 PM.

Wondering what a robotics competition looks like? Sixteen league teams will be competing in a 12 x 12 arena. Each will be given 3 minutes to complete a multitude of tasks. Referees judge the action as teams place blocks in baskets, raise flags and perform chin-ups on a pull-up bar!

The event is free, casual, and exciting. Come see our senior, junior varsity, and freshman teams work their technological magic. You will have the opportunity talk with students and see how they are incorporating science, technology, engineering, and math skills (STEM) into this captivating activity. Make sure to visit our Information Booth. Student liaisons will be available to answer questions about the team, our club activities, and sponsorship.

We would be happy to answer any questions that you might have prior to the competition. You can reach us through our EHS Swift website at http://swift.enumclaw.wednet.edu/ehs/enumclaw-robotics-club .
