New Student Board Representative Selected

Following a rigorous interview process with three incredible candidates, Gia Landis was selected as the new Student Board Representative for 2014 through 2016.

Gia sought the position of Junior Board Representative as a next step to her roles in leadership and ASB at Enumclaw High School. She believes these experiences have prepared her to serve on the board of directors. Gia has enjoyed getting to know all groups of students at her school and is committed to representing them well. She wants to continue to promote and facilitate positive changes at her school. Gia is a high achiever with a 3.845 grade point average. Education is a priority and her future plans include college and a career in the medical profession. Besides her challenging academic achievements and leadership involvement, Gia participates in tennis, gymnastics and volleyball. She also values community service and is a member of Key Club. Her teacher recommendation states, “The opportunity to meet and work with young people like her is one of the primary reasons I teach. I do not think you could make a better choice.”

Congratulations to Gia! We wish her much fulfillment as she begins her tenure as Student Board Representative in the Enumclaw School District.
