Highly Capable Program (IA) Testing

The Enumclaw School District offers highly capable services to meet the needs of students who qualify. The process for qualifying begins with a referral from a teacher, parent or community member. It includes the results from a standardized test offered by the Enumclaw School District, and additional academic measures such as State standardized test scores, classroom performance indicators, and possibly work samples. Parents must give their permission for students to be tested

Testing for this program is administered in the fall and spring of each year. This year the testing for grades 1-12 will be available for both sessions. Kindergartens will be tested in December at their building sites. Notification for testing appears on the School District web page, in the Courier Herald, and in each school’s newsletter.. All referrals for testing are due by April 3, 2015 for spring testing.
