New Student Board Representative Selected

Following a rigorous interview process with two incredible candidates, Brooke Humphreys was selected as the new Student Board Representative for 2015 through 2017.

Brooke sought the position of Junior Board Representative as a next step to serving on the pre-design team for the high school and her involvement with the bond. Brooke’s interest in district business was piqued and she wished to pursue opportunities which would expand her leadership skills and public speaking. She also looks forward to representing her classmates as the junior student board representative as well as interacting with the community. Brooke is a high academic achiever with a 3.883 GPA. She participates in leadership as a class officer, is in leadership class and cheer. Her future plans are to attend a 4-year college and pursue a degree in nursing. Her teacher recommendation states, “She has excellent communication skills, works well with adults, and possesses a professional demeanor. I can recommend her without reservation.”

Congratulations to Brooke! We wish her the best as she begins her tenure as Student Board Representative in the Enumclaw School District. Brooke will join senior Gia Landis who begins her second year as student representative to the board of directors.
