Spring Arts/Music Highlights



  • EHS Hornet Dancers
    This past Saturday your Hornet Dancers qualified for the WIAA State Dance & Drill Championships for the first time!  They will compete at the Yakima SunDome on Friday, March 27.
    The team consists of Captains C. Nelson, K. Kelly and T. Taff with M. Semon, M. Hughes, A. Zambrano, S. Thomas, D. Doll, K. Elliott, S. Eskridge, S. Hanson and T. Anderson.

  • EHS Choral Solo/Ensemble Contest
    This past Saturday, EHS hosted all of the high school vocalists from the Green River Music Region. Paul Scott, the EHS Music Director, stated that there were over 227 entries. Our EHS student M. Iunker received a superior rating for her solo in Italian, and S. Bruner and C. Johnson received a superior rating for their duet in Latin. Congratulations!

  • Titanic
    EHS presents the musical "Titanic".  Opening night is this Thursday, March 12!

  • EMS Solo/Ensemble Contest
    Lynda Alley, EMS Music Director, stated that 68% of the entire EMS band program was involved in this event held at Cedar Heights Middle School on Saturday, March 7. Of the 37 ensembles that competed, 24 ensembles received superior ratings and 13 ensembles received excellent ratings.  Lynda Alley stated that Enumclaw was by far the biggest participant there and the judges were impressed with how the students performed and presented themselves!  Congratulations to all!
