Meet Foster Barnhart, School Board Student Representative!

Enumclaw School District Board Members chose EHS Sophomore Foster Barnhart to join the Board as Student Representative for a two-year term. His voice will represent students throughout the district on important issues that impact student educational experiences. During the interview process, Foster’s commitment to school and community was evident along with a thoughtful point of view and ambition to achieve.

Foster appeared last year in front of the School Board where he delivered a speech to advocate for Chromebooks. His experience inspired him to continue advocating for students. Foster’s teachers recommended him with enthusiasm. Mr. Wallace shared that Foster is “the epitome of a good group member” and “is one of my most outstanding Video Productions students this year.” Mrs. Sandfer also holds Foster in high regards, sharing that his grades are commendable as is his support of classmates in their endeavors.

Foster’s current commitments include National Honor Society and AP classes. His future goals are to attend the University of Washington and to pursue a career in the legal field.

Foster joins current Student Representative Peyton Brueher as she moves into her Senior year at EHS.
