Technology in the Enumclaw School District has evolved enormously over the last ten years. We have expanded from approximately 20 computers to currently over 2000 networked devices, from 72 telephones to currently 800, from one staff member to nine full and part time staff members covering five elementary schools, two middle schools, one senior high school, facilities annex, transportation department and district office buildings.
Currently we support various Mac and PC platforms, HP printers, digital cameras, camcorders, PDAs, LCD projectors, document cameras and many other types of technology equipment used by staff and students.
Technology is an ever-changing tool used in education today. Both staff and students rely on technology for acquiring, gathering and sharing information. A challenge that we face today is acquiring and maintaining hardware, software and network infrastructure equipment that continue to meet today's technology standards within our current budget.
Staff development opportunities within our department help keep us abreast of new technologies. Please visit our pages for a wide range of information regarding the use of technology in our district and the staff that support it.
