All Schools Participated in “Hour of Code”

1/8/2015

A variety of students from every school in the Enumclaw School District participated in an exciting series of computer science activities called "Hour of Code" during Computer Science Education Week, December 8-14. These free online computer science activities are sponsored by a non-profit organization called Code.org, which is dedicated to expanding computer science education and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color.

Enumclaw High School is formally partnering with Code.org this year by offering a year-long coding class taught by Mr. Jacobsen and represents a small group of schools from only 11 school districts in Washington State to be part of this promising partnership.

Students representing Kindergarten through seniors at EHS, took part in a variety of activities and we are proud of our students for their exploration and work in the exciting areas of Computer Science Education!
