Dear Families,
The flu has become a focus recently in the news, especially the Bird
Flu. The Enumclaw School District is working on an overall district pandemic
flu plan which will be in place this fall. Part of this plan will be to
keep you informed about the flu and emergency information if it should
develop in our area.
Please find attached an informational guide provided by the Washington
State Department of Health. The purpose of the guide is to answer some
of your questions about a flu pandemic and simple things that you can
do to prepare. We will continue to educate our students and staff on disease
prevention; the safety of our students will continue to be our highest
priority.
If you have questions or would like to speak with someone, please feel
free to contact me directly (360.802.7101) or Gerrie Garton (360.802.7629).
We truly appreciate your partnership in keeping the children of our communities
safe and healthy.
Sincerely,
Dr. Arthur Jarvis
Superintendent
