Enumclaw High School Hires Shawn Tobius as Varsity Girls Soccer Coach

After a rigorous application and interview process that included a focus on teaching and coaching abilities, Enumclaw High School Principal David Dorn announced the selection of Shawn Tobius as the new Head Girls' Soccer Coach. "Shawn has been part of the Girls' Program for the past couple of years. He possesses the experience, knowledge and love for the sport that more than qualified him for the position. Shawn's passion for soccer and enthusiasm for the Girls' Program will propel the girls and EHS to a successful soccer program." Shawn has approximately six seasons of coaching experience, most recently as an assistant in both the boys and girls programs at EHS. As a player, Shawn competed for six years in the semi-professional league as a member of the Yakima Reds after completing playing careers in both high school and college.

Shawn has been a Spanish teacher for four years; three of which have been at Enumclaw High School. Shawn and his wife Cheryl have a son ian who is four years old.
