HSPE: August High School Proficiency Exam - Student Registration: (Update)

Student registration reopened on June 28th through the Test Registration (TR) system at https://www.k12.wa.us/testregistration/. The new registration window supplements the registration that closed on June 26th. Now through July 15th students, parents, and districts may pre-ID students who were unable to register during the original window.

Students who have not yet met standard on the HSPSE Reading and/or Writing exam can take one or both HSPE exams August 12-14, 2014. Students must register at www.k12.wa.us/testregistration/ or by calling 866-400-9275 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday - Friday. Please have your child’s State Student Identification (SSID) number, located on the front of the HSPE Score Report, available when registering.

Students must be current 10th, 11th or 12th graders for the 2013-14 school year or be enrolled in one of those grade levels for the 2014-15 school year.

Fall Sports Athletic Registration Day is Tuesday, August 19, 8:00AM to 10:30AM for alphabets A - L and then 12PM to 2:30PM for alphabets M - Z.

NOTE: Students unable to attend Hornet Days may pick up their class schedules on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 2nd, at 7:30 a.m. in the Counseling Office.


Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, commonly known at the PSAT date has been set for 2014-2015 school year.

This test is an inexpensive practice experience for students wanting to take the SAT as a Junior or Senior planning to attend a 4-year college after high school. Juniors who score well will also be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test Scholarships. Sophomores and freshmen may also take the test, but their scores will not be eligible for scholarships.

Enumclaw High School will be giving the PSAT on Wednesday October 15 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon at Enumclaw High School gym or library. There will 150 places available. Additional information will be posted shortly before school starts.

InvestEd

InvestED is the new name for the Saul Haas Foundation. The organization's goal is to provide immediate, short-term assistance to students in secondary schools in Washington State.
