If a child is not at school, we request that a parent notify the office by 9:30 a.m. The office will be contacting the parents of absent children when a phone call is not received. After an absence, a pupil should bring a note from home explaining the absence if the parent has not previously called regarding the absence. The note should be dated and signed by the parent and should state the number of days absent and the cause of the absence. A request to have a child excused from school must be in writing with the reason for the planned absence and must be signed by the parent. Parents are to come to the school office to pick up their child and sign them out. Students arriving late must be checked into the office by the parent/guardian to ensure student safety.

Electronic Devices Policy

All CD players, cell phones, iPods, pagers and other electronic devices must be turned off and out of sight during the school day. Students are responsible for devices they bring to school. The District shall not be responsible for loss, theft or destruction of devices brought onto school property.

Family Access

Family Access is an online tool for parents to stay connected with their student's progress at school. This private student profile has everything parents need to know to keep their child on track and successful in school: attendance, assignments, grades, food service and links to teachers' email addresses.

Parents or legal guardians need to apply for their login and password online at Fill out the online application and click submit. Your information will be emailed back to you. You may also apply in person at Southwood or the District Office. Bring your photo ID to pick up your user name and password from our office or from Jamie in Technology at the District Office.

Food Service Payments Available Online

Skyward Family Access offers online food service payments for your convenience. Add money to your student's food service account by logging onto your Skyward / Family Access account linked to Enumclaw School District's website as mentioned above. Select General Information, Food Service, Make Online Payment. Payments will be immediately posted to your student's food service account. There will be a $1.00 service charge to RevTrack.

Interactive Calendar

Did you know our district website's interactive calendar has a subscription feature?

Go to our district home page at and click on the View District-Wide Calendar button on the bottom right of the page. Click on the Subscribe link. Type in your name and valid email address. Next, choose whether you want to receive calendar emails daily, weekly or monthly. Now, click the box next to each school or site calendar for which you want to receive event emails. Next, click the Subscribe button. You will then receive an email to the email address you specified. To finalize this subscription, follow the instructions in the email received from us.

Lost & Found

Our Lost & Found is located in the gym. Periodically throughout the year unclaimed articles are given to worthy organizations if they are still unclaimed.
