My child is going to miss school today. Who do I need to notify?

Please call the office (360) 802-7370 by 9:30 am if your child won't be in school that day.

My child is coming in late for school today - Do I need to notify the school?
A
YES - If your child is coming in late, give the office a call (360) 802-7370. If they are planning to buy lunch that day, please call the office by 9:30 so we make sure we order enough lunches!

I need to take my child out of school early today. What do I need to do?
A
Children leaving the school during the day must bring a signed note from home permitting us to excuse them. Anyone calling for a child must come into the office to sign the child out.

My child seems to have lost their coat (lunchbox, backpack, etc.), do you have a lost and found?
A
Yes, all found, unlabeled items are placed on the coat rack next to the gym. To help us reunite your child with their missing items, please take the time to mark your child's first and last name on their coats, lunchboxes and backpacks.

Are there other opportunities to volunteer?

You can contact the PTA for volunteer opportunities.

Do you have a dress code?
A
We ask that children not wear halter tops or open-toed sandals due to the danger of injuries from exposure. Recess and PE are regular parts of our educational program; children need to be dressed so they may actively participate in the activities.

Do I have to send lunch money in with my child every day, or can I buy a week's worth of lunches all at one time?
A
You can add as much money to your child's lunch account as you want to. Some families purchase a week, month or year's worth of lunches at a time. We will notify you when your lunch account is running low.

Do you offer Free or Reduced lunches?

Yes, call the office at (360) 802-7370 and we can get you the forms you need to apply for Free/Reduced Lunch.

How much does lunch cost?
A
Lunch is $1.80, milk is .40 and Breakfast is $1.10. The school menu is sent home each month. An online version of the menu is available here.

How do I find out if school in cancelled due to bad weather?
A
The Public Schools Emergency Communications System (PSECS) provides a report of school schedule changes due to adverse weather conditions and other emergency situations for member school districts, colleges, and private schools. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, MEMBER SCHOOLS ARE OPERATING ON NORMAL SCHEDULES. Only current information is displayed. Reports are erased at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
