What is ECEAP?
Free Preschool - ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program) is a comprehensive preschool program that provides FREE services and support to eligible three and four-year-old children and their families. The goal of our ECEAP program is to help ensure each child in the Enumclaw School District enters kindergarten ready to succeed. Our ECEAP program includes preschool education, snacks, meals, parent involvement, health services coordination, and family support services. Each child in our program will receive free transportation to and from school or daycare.
Children in the Enumclaw ECEAP program learn to manage their feelings, get along with others, and follow classroom procedures. They begin to build skills for reading, math, science and art. The program works closely with parents to support their children’s health and education needs and to meet family goals. ECEAP also helps each family to access medical care, dental care, and social services.
Enumclaw School District offers this free preschool program for families that qualify. Part-day classes are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Full-Day class is 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday at our new Birth to Five Center at J.J. Smith.
