Enrollment / Registration
Parents/guardians must register their children at the school within the boundary area for their residence. Registration packets are available in the school offices, which are generally open weekdays from mid-August to end of June. Please call the school to confirm times and dates for registration; phone numbers are available at

The following documents are needed to enroll a child:
- Proof of residency with parent/guardians name and address (Questions about school boundaries or busing can be answered by our Transportation staff. Please call the Transportation office at 360.802.7232.)
- Immunization records for child (Before or on a child's first day of school attendance, proof of either full immunization, an initiation of a schedule of immunizations or a certificate of exemption as provided for in RCW28A.210.090 must be provided to the school. Required vaccines are viewable at https://goo.gl/5QqqU3. Per School Board Policy 3231, the district will assume permission to release basic student information unless it is otherwise indicated on the "Release of Student Information Form" linked below.

Choice Transfer Request
If you live within Enumclaw district schools, but you want your child(ren) to attend an out of district school, you must obtain a Choice Transfer Request form in English or Spanish which you can complete and email to miranda_newell@enumclaw.wednet.edu or bring it to the district office. The form will be entered on-line for the receiving district to approve. You will receive email notification when the process has been completed. A new waiver must be submitted every year. If your student is enrolling full-time in an on-line program, such as the Internet Academy or WAVA, you will need to complete the Choice Transfer Request form in English or Spanish to be released from the district to an on-line program. If you want your child(ren) to attend Enumclaw district schools, but you live out of the district, you must complete the Choice Waiver process at your resident school district. Once this is completed, the form will be entered on the on-line site to be approved by the Enumclaw School District. The waiver process must be completed every year. Interdistrict Agreement Request
If your student is attending an on-line school AND taking a class(es) in the Enumclaw School District, you will need to complete the Interdistrict Agreement form in English or Spanish to be released from the district part-time to an on-line program. Please be sure to complete the class information in both the resident and non-resident schools to equal a 1.0 FTE (5 classes total between the two entities). The waiver must be completed every year. Intradistrict Waiver
If you want your child(ren) to attend a school outside your attendance area within the Enumclaw School District, you must obtain an Intradistrict Waiver which you can print from home or from Miranda Newell in the district office which must be signed by both schools' principals and the superintendent. Declaration of Intent to Provide Home-Based Instruction
A parent who plans to cause their child or children to receive home-based instruction in lieu of attendance or enrollment in a public school, approved private school, or an extension program of an approved private school must file an annual declaration of intent to do so by submitting the Declaration of Intent to Provide Home-Based Instruction form or the Request for Part-Time Attendance or Ancillary Services form if needed.
