Hybrid students are currently being assigned to a student group (A or B) based on student last name. As an initial guide, students with last names beginning in A-K will be assigned to Group A and students with last names beginning in L-Z will be assigned to group B. Principals will be making adjustments to these groups based on classroom sizes. All K-5 elementary families will receive communication from their school regarding their assigned student cohort (A/B) and teacher assignment by November 20th.
In the hybrid model, elementary students will attend two days a week in person (A- M/W or B- T/Th) and continue to receive at-home learning for the other three days. At-home learning may include take-home assignments or other methods of asynchronous delivery and may not include a weekly learning module.
