If you arrive by car to pick up, please stay in your car and follow the process outlined below for cars.
If you walk up to pick up, please follow the process outlined below for walk ups.
Please call the school office if you have questions or if you need clarification on anything.
The safety of our students is a top priority. Our family number system helps us ensure that every student remains safe at the end of the school day and is connected with the correct adult. We thank you for your support and patience with this process!
How to pick up (car): Upon entering the lot, turn right to drive through the parking lot, then loop around and pick your children up in front of the school. Remember to drive slowly and, as laws of the road apply to the parking lot, keep cell phone use hands free. When reaching the front of the school, pull as far forward as you can while keeping the crosswalk clear. Display your family number card for a staff member to see.
How to pick up (walk-ups): Once you have parked your car, bring your official number card to show to a staff member. Line up before the stairs. To ensure clear visibility and safety for our students, we ask that you head back to your car as soon as you have picked up your student.
*** Important reminders about our pick-up procedure***
Each family receives 2 large, bright green, official Black Diamond number cards with their family number.
Anyone who picks up a child MUST display this official number card in their car or as they walk up. Please place the card in a spot that will be easy to see, such as the passenger side of the front window.
For the safety of your children, only cars or adults with an official Black Diamond number card will be allowed to pick-up children. If the official pick-up number is not in the car, you will be asked to go to the office to provide identification for pick-up.
Students will wait in the gym for their number to be shown on the projector. When their number is shown, students will exit the building through the cafeteria doors and head to the front pick-up area.
TIPS TO A SMOOTH PICK UP PROCESS
*Place number cards in cars and give to people who will be picking your child up before school starts!
*Keep cards in glove boxes so they are easily accessible and don’t get left behind.
*If you forget your number card, simply park and come into the office to check your child out.
*Need more number cards? Just send a note to the office or call and we’ll send more home.
*Help your child memorize and recognize your family pick up number.
PROCESO DE RECOGIDA DE ESTUDIANTES EN LA ESCUELA PRIMARIA BLACK DIAMOND
Si llega en automóvil para recogerlo, permanezca en su automóvil y siga el proceso que se describe a continuación para los automóviles.

Cómo recoger: Al ingresar al estacionamiento, gire a la derecha para conducir a lo largo del brazo del estacionamiento, a través de la grava para dar la vuelta y recoger a sus hijos en frente de la escuela (vea el mapa adjunto). Recuerde conducir despacio y, dado que las leyes de la carretera se aplican al estacionamiento, mantenga las manos libres de usar el teléfono celular. Cuando llegué al frente de la escuela, avancé lo más que pueda mientras mantiene despejado el paso de peatones.

Cada familia recibe 2 tarjetas grandes, de color rosa brillante, con el número oficial de Sunrise con su número de familia.
Cualquiera que recoja a un niño DEBE mostrar esta tarjeta de número oficial en su automóvil. Coloque la tarjeta en un lugar que sea fácil de ver, como el lado del pasajero de la ventana delantera.
Para la seguridad de sus hijos, solo los automóviles con una tarjeta oficial de número de Sunrise podrán recoger a los niños. Si el número oficial de recogida no está en el coche, se le pedirá que vaya a la oficina para proporcionar una identificación para la recogida.
Los estudiantes esperarán en el gimnasio a que se muestre su número en el proboard. Cuando se muestre su número, los estudiantes saldrán del edificio a través de las puertas del personal y se dirigirán al área de recogida del frente.
CONSEJOS PARA UN PROCESO DE RECOGIDA SUAVE
* ¡Coloque tarjetas con los números en los autos y entréguelas a las personas que recogerán a su hijo antes de que comience la escuela!
* Mantenga las tarjetas en cajas de guantes para que sean fácilmente accesibles y no se queden atrás.
* Si olvida su tarjeta de número, simplemente estacione y venga a la oficina para recoger a su hijo.
* ¿Necesita más tarjetas de números? Simplemente envíe una nota a la oficina o llamenos y le enviaremos más a casa.
* Ayude a su hijo a memorizar y, para los estudiantes más pequeños, a reconocer, el número de recogida de su familia.
