Washington State is one of the 41 states who have adopted the Common Core Learning Standards.  These standards are designed to prepare students to meet the demands of today’s world. The standards establish clear, consistent guidelines for what every student should know and be able to do in both mathematics and English language arts from Kindergarten through grade 12.
