Lending Hands food drive with fall leaves in the background

Update 11/13/2023:

The ESD Human Resources team made their way around the district today to collect donations for the annual Lending Hands Food Drive in support of the Plateau Outreach Ministries Food Banks and the Black Diamond Community Center Food Bank.

Thank you to the students, staff, and families across Enumclaw, Black Diamond, and Ravensdale who donated nearly 1000 items to help make the holiday season brighter for neighbors and friends!

It’s time for our annual Lending Hands Food Drive! We are partnering with our local food banks to support our own district families who need it most.

All donated items need to be dropped off at your or your student's building before November 13th at 9 AM. Staff will collect those items and deliver them to our local food banks - Plateau Outreach Ministries (POM) Food Banks on Cole and Marshall Ave., and Black Diamond Food Bank.

Enumclaw School District will be connecting with our school families in need so they can receive the essentials this holiday season.

We are accepting all non-perishable items such as gravy, boxed stuffing, canned cranberries, canned pumpkin, boxed mashed potatoes, canned vegetables (various), cream of mushroom, broth (chicken/beef/veggie), canned yams, potatoes, canned fruit, condensed milk, boxed cornbread, canned meats, chili, soup, dry beans, cereal, mac and cheese, etc.

Please reach out to Human Relations at 360-802-7112 or human_resources@enumclaw.wednet.edu if you have any questions.

Thank you for your continued support!
