Thanks to funding provided by the previous technology levy (2014 - 2020 ), the District was able to purchase Chromebooks providing one-to-one access for every student in grades 5-12. With the resources provided by the community through the renewal of our Technology Levy in 2020, the district was able to purchase 42 Chromebook charging carts needed to provide K-5 elementary classrooms with a dedicated set of classroom devices this school year.
This funding also allowed the district to replace Chromebooks that had reached the end of their lifecycle and expand equitable access to technology for classrooms, K-12! The educational support and opportunities these devices provide enhance learning and directly benefit our students.
Paraeducators in the district will also receive access to Chromebooks to use in their work to support student learning.
