2025 Critical Maintenance Capital Levy
While the preliminary results of our recent Capital Levy have not met the required threshold for passage, I want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you. Your participation, your voices, and your support—whether through voting, sharing information, or championing the needs of our schools—have meant so much to our district.
In fact, this campaign saw a meaningful increase in voter support, more than we’ve seen in past years. That growth is a powerful sign of the trust and investment our community is placing in our schools, and it’s something we can build upon as we look ahead to future efforts, including our Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy and Instructional Technology Levy.
I’m also deeply grateful for the dedication and hard work that went into sharing information about the levy with our community. This collective commitment reflects the heart of our mission: creating safe, secure, and supportive learning environments for every student.
Although this result means we will need to address our facility needs much more gradually than planned, our vision remains firm. We will continue to provide the best possible learning conditions for our students and staff—because our work is about more than buildings. It’s about people, purpose, and preparing the next generation.
Our spirits remain high as we focus on the most important mission we share: educating and empowering the citizens of tomorrow.
With gratitude,
Shaun
