The Enumclaw School District Board of Directors is conducting a search for the next superintendent of Enumclaw School District.

Selecting a superintendent is one of the most significant responsibilities of the Board. The individual chosen will help shape the direction and success of our district for years to come. The Board is committed to a thoughtful and transparent process and values the insight of students, families, staff, and community members. Community input will play an important role in developing the leadership profile and informing the Board’s final decision.
COMMUNITY INPUT AND PARTICIPATION
The Enumclaw School District Board has retained the executive search firm Northwest Leadership Associates (NWLA) to conduct a national search for the next superintendent.
LEADERSHIP PROFILE SURVEY
The first step in this process was developing a leadership profile to help identify the ideal candidate.
Thank you to everyone who submitted a response to the Leadership Profile Survey (survey closed on April 22). Your responses have assisted the Enumclaw School District Board of Directors and Northwest Leadership Associates in developing the leadership profile that will guide the selection of the next superintendent.
FOCUS GROUPS
Northwest Leadership Associates also facilitated focus group input sessions on March 18, 2026, to collect input from stakeholder groups. Community stakeholders were invited to participate in the community session in person or virtually. The data collected through the focus groups is available on our Superintendent Search webpage.
FINALIST INTERVIEWS
The next opportunity for community participation will be the finalist interviews scheduled for May 12-14, 2026. Event details will be posted below once the finalist selections are made.
