10/26/25 6:30 PM: We are actively monitoring power outages across the district. At this time, Black Diamond Elementary, Thunder Mountain Middle School, Enumclaw Middle School, Southwood Elementary, and Sunrise Elementary are still without power. The current estimated time of restoration is 12:00 AM.
Due to these outages, all schools will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow to ensure our buildings and systems are operational and ready for students. Please note there will be no out-of-district transportation. Buses will run on normal routes.
For our Birth to Five families: AM ECEAP and Developmental Preschool are canceled. Full Day ECEAP and Transitional Kindergarten will start two hours late. PM ECEAP and Developmental Preschool will begin on time.
We will continue to monitor the situation, and if the power is not restored by the estimated time of 12:00 AM, we will reassess in the morning and provide families with any updates.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families. Thank you to our PSE and utility teams for working to restore our power!

Enumclaw School District elementary schools have dedicated time each day called What I Need (WIN) Time. This is a structured period during which teachers and support staff provide targeted support to ensure all students receive instruction tailored to where they are in their learning journey.
WIN Time is in addition to the core instructional block (classroom lessons). Students continue to engage with rigorous, grade-level material in their class while also receiving time for personalized support or enrichment.
✅ Targeted intervention for those who need more support.
✅ Enrichment opportunities for students ready to be challenged.
✅ Personalized learning that adapts to students' changing needs.
WIN Time ensures every student gets exactly what they need to be successful. It is one more way our schools are providing high-quality, individualized instruction. Learn more about WIN Time on our website: https://www.enumclaw.wednet.edu/article/2458259

Signed and adopted on September 17, 1787, the U.S. Constitution established the framework for our government, and the rights and responsibilities we hold as citizens of the United States. In school buildings across our district today, students are learning how the Constitution impacts their lives and why active citizenship matters.

ESD encourages you to explore the art, enjoy the cuisine, dive into the literature, and learn the stories of Hispanic and Latino Americans with roots in Latin American countries and cultures.
